Joyful Dorkette

So here I am, a Nigerian American lady with a mesmerizing passion for videography. I’m trying to personally flourish my artistry instead of letting it decay through unwelcome doubt and before I start asking myself: what IF?

My passions are built in me like the vibrato of sound in the chords of a violin. Ow! I wouldn’t be the same if I left them behind because they consume my mind 99.99% of the time. And since my passions won’t leave this mind of mine, I’m gonna let it shine through an outlet online. Sing it with me!

Brief Media Background

My first website was at Yahoo! Geocities in 2002. I started video editing in 2005 using Window’s Movie Maker. A little while after I began using Sony Vegas Movie Studio because I needed a program with more editing features. I advanced to Final Cut Express late 2007 when I began using a Macbook Pro. I now use Final Cut Pro. I taught myself how to maneuver in these programs by messing with the various features and searching for things that I couldn’t figure out or wanted to improve on (shout out to Google and Youtube). There’s a lot more that I would love to learn. I aspire to excel in videography. My videos can be seen here.

Positive Thinking

Let me stay joyful by continuing to be around the things and people that bring joy to my life, by hopefully encouraging others like myself to pursue our aspirations with ambition in every little step towards our goals. Not every step has to be an overwhelmingly big one, we just have to make a slight MOVE at some point and set a reasonable time frame for our projects so that we can progress. Shake that self-doubt off and let’s enjoyette… because you can’t just let your talents go to waste.
